Mudkids have been a part of the independent rap scene for nearly a decade. Forming in 1997, Tyler and Russ began recording their first demos in Bloomington, IN. The group started playing shows in their hometown of Indianapolis with Skittz joining the group circa '98. Indiana is not exactly the hip-hop capitol of the world, but the 'Kids perseverd and haven't had problems maintining a well-earned reputation as one of THE acts-to-see in the Midwest. The live show is one of constant movement and change, going from freestyles to Mudkid classics to covers in no time flat. An audience and critical favorite for years, the group has released three albums ("4trackmind", "Upward", and "Higher" and the current release, "Basementality"). Recently adding DJ Helicon to handle tour-DJ duties, the Mudkids are ready to come to your City and make a big ol' buncha noise!
