Boogie Matrix and MC Sparkplug Tonight! Thursday, April 10th.

Photobucket

Started in 2005, Boogie Matrix Mechanism released their debut album "Glass Candy" over Halloween 2006. They give the audience an eclectic mix of Jam psychedelia, hip hop, blues, reggae, funk n more. This seven piece band gives the audience not just funked out grooves or trippy space, but also some strong messages through the lyrics and entertaining opportunities through crowd participation. Out of Toledo, OH this jam band is bringing a positive vibe with an original mix of styles that few if any are doing today

Halloween Show
The Halloween concert we're throwing this year is looking better and better. Just the other day, we added experimental-indie-folk rockers and John Vanderslice cohorts The Physics of Meaning to the bill. Indianapolis rockers Red Queen Hypothesis have gotten on board to play as well. If you want to give them a listen before showing up, download their ten-track CD "Mother Change Brain" for free from Musical Family Tree. And today, Grampall Jookabox released their newest Halloween-themed song "DC" on their MySpace page for free download (featuring Moose from Big Big Car and Lisa from Everthus the Deadbeats). What else? I'll be awarding $30 and $20 bar tabs to the best costumes I see walk in the door on Halloween, and another $50 bar tab to the winning team of the horror trivia contest I'm hosting at 9pm! With a possibility of winning $80 in free drinks and pizza, how can you miss this show?

The Physics of Meaning

And tonight,
We're hosting FM Music's Fall Folk Jam, featuring Jassy Grazz, Pray For Mojo, and the Michael Martin Band. Here's what Mike himself has to say about the event:

This is the 6th Annual FMMusic Fall Folk Jam. What started as a fun night of pickin' at the legendary Speak Easy in Muncie, IN has grown into a full fledge production company! FMMusic was founded based on The Fall Folk Jam. Now six years later we are rockin' Doc's Music Hall and helping to change the face of Muncie. Come celebrate with us for a night of Rockin' Country Blues!

Ron White and Alex Reymundo came into Doc's last Friday after his show at Ball State. They said that they enjoy live music when they are on the road. A night full of scotch, jokes, and heavy metal by local band, Malachai.

Update by Phantom: Long Plastic Hallway totally played this show too! Not just Malachai!

Update by Phantom: Check out the photo gallery of Ron White's visit.

Update by Phantom: Video removed as per the request of Mr. White's manager.
